UN Resolution on Taking action against gender-related killing of women and girls

The UN Resolution 68/191 on ‘Taking action against gender-related killing of women and girls’ was adopted on 18 December 2013.

It mainly calls for preventive approaches to gender-related killings, comprehensive research into the causes and protective national legislation.
